they were a BAD IDEA. as much as eliza tried to get that in her head, and as much as she tried to make herself realize that; nothing helped. in her fit of anger and sadness, she couldn’t turn to ANYONE. angelica wasn’t doing much to help, and as much as eliza appreciated it, it wasn’t enough. she couldn’t turn to her husband, he was the REASON for her anger and sadness. she didn’t expect to go to thomas, and she espesially didn’t expect anything that did happen to happen.
but it did.
they had done a terrible thing, an incredibly awful thing; people had to know that. but the moment that she found out she was showing signs of a pregnancy, she knew that it WASN’T alexander’s baby. there had been a lot of tears, a lot of stress, and another comfort from the man that had done this to her. however, now that alexander fully believed that it was his, and nothing bad has happened—- everything seemed alright.
she was stood in his home, as she was invited over, and that’s when she felt the baby kick, and the smile that was on his face warmed her heart right to the core. ❛ i am fine. ❜ his touch was different from alexander’s. although her husband’s was always warm and when it happened, she knew that he loved her. his hands were rough, and there was such a TENSION now, that it made her uncomfortable if he tried to touch her. but as she was with thomas, his smooth hands would always make her face grow hot, and there was such a desire to reach up and grab it with her own, MISSING contact.
❛ as fine as i can be with our situation, but i’m sure you meant health wise. there has been some bleeding, but it went away, it’s happened with all my pregnancies. ❜ however little it may be, it usually doesn’t happen THIS late. she didn’t want to worry him though, and she didn’t want to worry, as the baby was being active inside of her right now. ❛ what are you going to do when the baby comes? alexander believes it is his, and he LOVES his kids, he truly does. i just —- what do you want to do about us? ❜
